The Lentini Corner Cabinet
Project Overview Commissioned for a private client, this bespoke storage solution was designed to transform a specific corner into a sculptural focal point. The Lentini Cabinet balances traditional Moroccan-inspired geometric motifs with a modern, minimalist silhouette. The project prioritized tactile materiality and custom hardware to create a one-of-a-kind "art-furniture" piece.
Design & Materiality
Textured Artistry: The exterior features a specialized textured paint finish in a deep Azure Blue. The hand-applied texture adds depth to the incised circular and floral door patterns, allowing light to catch the ridges of the geometric carvings.
Three-Legged Architecture: To accommodate the corner placement and maintain a light visual footprint, the cabinet sits on a custom three-legged stand. This tripod base provides maximum stability while emphasizing the triangular geometry of the lower open shelf.
Bespoke Hardware: A primary design feature is the customized organic handles. Cast in a gold-finished metal, these "branch-like" pulls offer a fluid, natural contrast to the rigid, mathematical precision of the door carvings.

Cabinetry: High-grade plywood with a black laminate interior for durability and ease of cleaning.
Shelving: Integrated triangular shelving optimized for corner storage depth.
Base: Square-profile steel tubing, finished in a matte black to disappear into the room’s shadows, making the blue cabinet appear to float.
